Pajama Set: TopShop
Eye Mask: Amazon
My bachelorette party was a massive success thanks to my wonderful maid of honor, and all of my amazing friends! We went with a slumber party theme and booked a hotel suite bc staying in is life. I was in love the Topshop satin set I ordered, and I’m so bummed I didn’t get a picture of my slippers bc I’m OBSESSED (+ inexpensive).
I decided to keep things more low key v. going out and getting wasted bc let’s be honest, I’m a Grandma. The Leveque Hotel in downtown Columbus did not disappoint with our suite! The entire hotel itself is gorgeous, but I was so impressed with our room! We’re almost a month out and it is getting REAL.
Dress: Lord & Taylor (Wayf)
We celebrated my final bridal shower this weekend and it could not have been more perfect. The setting & decor were stunning, my Mom and three sister in laws did an absolutely amazing job! Asterisk in Uptown Westerville had such a great table set up, and a perfect atmosphere. I was also extremely pleased with my shower dress that I ordered online (that’s now on sale!) it fit like a glove & was perfect for the August heat.
Romper: Zara (their new fall collection is AMAZE),

The past week I have been craving Autumn like no other. It has always been my favorite season for a multitude of reasons, but I always find myself eagerly wishing for spring to retire and for fall to resurface. I’m sure in a couple of months I’ll be hating myself for saying this (cue 6 months of Ohio’s unbearable winter).
German Village has always been one of my favorite burrows of Columbus, especially during Autumn, but Summer also has its perks. The brick streets, unmatched small businesses and stunning old homes make it a must see. Philip & I frequent Katzingers Delicatesen and Stauf’s for lunch & the best coffee you will ever have. We stopped in at a local plant shop, Stump, and picked up our first plant to attempt to take care of (we’ve managed to keep Darby alive, so I’m feeling pretty confident). The staff was insanely friendly, there was a cute pup greeting us at the door, and our new Snake Plant came with a little guide on how to take care of it, so honestly if we kill it we have no one to blame but ourselves.
Here’s to Sundays!

Spring has sprung in Columbus (finally), and I’m not sure if I have ever been more ready for warm weather! Being from Michigan harsh winters usually don’t phase me, but this one was exceptionally brutal and the cabin fever is REAL.
This spring will be the last of our relaxing weeks for a while, because come summer we are in full time wedding/travel mode! Planning a wedding is like layering on another full time job, and although I’ve loved every second of it, I am definitely ready for some relaxing days on Lake Michigan’s coast this summer!
I get a lot of questions around where a lot of my pieces are from. I’m all about investing in the classics ( a la the Balmain glasses, although Saks off fifth has them for a bargain in a killer nude shade) and going fast fashion for the trends (bc honestly I had a shirt that said bonjour five years ago and got rid of it…). Zara is and forever will be my favorite fast fashion retailer, but I am partial to ASOS as well (no sales tax ayeee).
Sweater: Urban Outfitters/ Haute Rogue
One of my favorite traditions Philip and I have established this year is venturing to a new brunch spot every weekend. We spent this rainy Saturday morning at Cravings Cafe , and it did not disappoint. I also added the word bronut to my vocabulary, aka a donut hole shoved into a donut.

This weekend had me fondly looking back at our engagement photos as we continue to prep for arguably the biggest day of our lives. Sometimes it still blows my mind that I’m already twenty three, about to get married, and start a new chapter of my life. Life has been busy, and I realized I forgot to post something for Valentine’s Day! So Philip, here you go!
Philip and I met in college via mutual friends, and it’s sometimes strange to think about the events that had to take place for us to meet. Life really does have a funny way of working itself out. After talking to him the first night we met I knew instantly that we wanted the same things out of life. For those who know us personally, they can speak to how opposite we are in personality. Philip is reserved, even tempered and extremely considerate, and I’m, well….me. The polar end of extroverted, high strung, and overly ambitious. We both have a strong dedication towards our families, a desire to see the world, grow in our careers, and someday have a family. And we both exhibit a deep passion for tacos (@ Conado).
I wanted to share my three favorite engagement shots, as you don’t utilize nearly all of them through save the dates, etc. and as a late Vday tribute. My wonderful friend Megan Logsdon took them (hit her up if you’re in Columbus, she’s amazing!) in some of our favorite spots around the city.
So here’s to you my Valentine, I sure am thankful that everything fell into place to meet you.
